The entire first dMAT cycle in India runs on four fixed dates. The dMAT is not offered on demand — there's no rolling or on-request testing, so missing any one of these dates affects your whole timeline, not just the test itself.

These are the only dates confirmed for the 2026 cycle. Registration and the test itself are handled entirely by g.a.s.t. through the official portal linked from d-mat.de — APS India isn't involved in booking, only in requiring the resulting certificate afterward.
Is there a 2027 dMAT date yet?

What happens if you miss the registration deadline
There's no late registration and no exception process described for missing the 15 September 2026 deadline — you simply have to wait for the next cycle. Because APS processing and German university application deadlines (often December or January for a Summer intake) don't move to accommodate this, missing the dMAT window can push your entire APS certificate, and with it your university application, into a later intake than you planned for. Deadlines that affect your registration status
Two other date-sensitive rules to know before you register:
- If you have a documented disability or condition requiring special exam arrangements, g.a.s.t. requires registering at least ten weeks before the exam date — considerably earlier than the general deadline.
